As of that post, the actor's return time to the convention remained to be determined. Per a report from TMZ, Lambert's representative attributed the collapse to a drop in blood sugar caused by a lack of sleep and food, explaining that the actor had eaten little during the day and had gotten little rest the night before.
Lambert had been scheduled to host a dedicated fan Q&A panel on Sunday afternoon as part of the convention's official program, and per TMZ's report, he may still attend the con on Sunday. His representative described him as “perfectly ok” following the episode, per the same TMZ report.

This isn't the first health scare Lambert has faced in recent memory. In March 2025, he was hospitalized and underwent physical therapy for a back injury after tripping on a flight of hotel stairs, according to the Daily Express.
