A man allegedly loaded up on $659.98 in merchandise at an Academy Sports store in northwest Harris County and walked out without paying last Saturday. Investigators now want the public to play a very specific guessing game: Do you know this man?
The Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office said in a Facebook post that deputies responded to a theft at the store in the 28600 block of the Northwest Freeway. Surveillance video captured the suspect, who allegedly selected the merchandise before leaving the store without paying.
Investigators Release Suspect Description
The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair and a thin beard. He was reportedly wearing a gray hoodie and black pants when he entered the store.
The constable’s office has not publicly identified the man, and the surveillance image is being used to seek help from anyone who may recognize him. The reported theft is listed under case number 2608-00224.
