A woman was in critical condition Tuesday after deputies said she appeared to have been intentionally struck by a vehicle in north Harris County, with the driver not immediately identified.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said in a Tuesday morning update that deputies responded to the 400 block of FM-1960 near the North Freeway. The woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition, according to the initial account.

Another Serious FM-1960 Pedestrian Case
The incident lands on a corridor that has seen other serious pedestrian cases. In March, a woman identified by relatives as Lolita Moore was critically injured in an apparent hit-and-run while crossing FM-1960 at Cypress Station Road, according to Hoodline’s earlier report.
