Downtown Jacksonville boaters now have a new place to tie up for a Jaguars game, a concert or a riverfront night out: Met Park Marina is taking reservations for its rebuilt 78-slip facility. The launch puts a fresh waterfront option beside Jacksonville’s downtown sports and entertainment venues.
Reservations opened Friday at 9 a.m. for stays beginning next Wednesday, and the City of Jacksonville’s announcement says slips are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Boaters booking the first available date can also arrange an overnight stay the evening before.
What Downtown Boaters Can Reserve
Met Park Marina sits along the St. Johns River near the Four Seasons Hotel and Residences and across East Bay Street from EverBank Stadium. The Jacksonville Daily Record reports that the facility is designed for vessels from 30 to 400 feet and will offer special-event dockage, short-term dock-and-dine visits and overnight stays.
For the newly posted 2026 rates, the marina’s reservation page lists transient slips at $2.75 per foot per night for boats up to 60 feet and $3.25 per foot for boats longer than 60 feet. Special-event stays are $4 per foot per night, while dock-and-dine visits cost $5 per hour for up to four hours, with fuel and ship-store access included.
A Downtown Dock Built For Game-Day Weekends
The amenities are aimed at making a downtown stop more than a place to leave the boat: water hookups, marine gas and diesel, pump-out service, Wi-Fi and a ship store are part of the offering, according to the Met Park Marina website. The marina’s Dockwa listing also lists floating docks, showers, laundry, restrooms and pet-friendly facilities, with check-in after 1 p.m. and checkout before 11 a.m.
The timing puts the marina online just before the Jacksonville Jaguars’ first home preseason game on Aug. 21, with the location positioned for downtown sports and concert weekends, the Jacksonville Daily Record reported. For boaters who do not need a reserved slip, the city says adjacent Metropolitan Park wood docks remain free on non-event days on a first-come, first-served basis, while special-event rafting reservations are handled separately through JaxParks.
