The emergency began with a 911 call at approximately 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, after a civilian on a jet ski spotted the woman in distress near Twin Dikes and brought her safely to shore, Jasper County Sheriff Chuck Havard confirmed, as reported by 12News Now.
