Maui police are asking the public for help locating 44-year-old Sarah McClellan, whose family reported her missing after losing contact with her. Her exact last-seen date remains unknown, and investigators say they have not found information confirming where she is.
As reported by Maui Now, McClellan was reported missing about a week ago after her last known contact with family sometime in May. She is known to frequent the Wailuku area, and attempts to reach her by phone were unsuccessful because the device was shut off or inoperable.
Police Reclassified The Case As A Missing-Person Investigation
McClellan is known to operate a white Dodge Caravan with Hawaiʻi license plate HLX 228. Police initially documented a Personal Assistance case and issued an All Points Bulletin, but later reclassified the matter as a missing-person investigation after investigative efforts produced no information about her whereabouts.
Her last documented contact with law enforcement occurred on Dec. 12, 2025, in Hāna near the gas station. McClellan is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes; her last clothing is unknown.
