Minneapolis is starting Monday with clear skies, temperatures in the mid-60s and a pleasant summer forecast that turns more unsettled after dark. The city should warm to about 82°F before showers and thunderstorms enter the picture Monday evening.

Storm Chances Arrive Monday Evening
A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms arrives between about 7 p.m. and 1 a.m., according to the National Weather Service. Skies will turn mostly cloudy, temperatures will settle near 65°F, and rainfall should generally remain light, with new amounts under a tenth of an inch possible.
Forecasters say scattered storms will develop across parts of western Minnesota late Monday and move east-southeast through the evening.
