The Silver Alert had been activated on behalf of the King County Sheriff’s Office after Leverentz was last seen near his residence off Southwest 155th Street in Burien on July 1. The B-Town Blog reported that authorities considered the disappearance a credible threat to his health and safety and said his direction of travel was unknown.
Public search request is no longer active
The original alert asked anyone who saw Leverentz to call 911, but the cancellation indicates that request is no longer active for this case. Burien’s police services are provided through the King County Sheriff’s Office, which lists 206-296-3311 for non-emergency dispatch on its official Burien police page.
