Most storms are expected to bring heavy bursts of rain rather than widespread damaging winds, although a few strong gusts cannot be ruled out. Slow-moving storms could drop enough rain for localized flooding if several cells cross the same spot, so drivers should be ready for sudden visibility drops and water-covered roads.

Friday night stays unsettled, with showers and thunderstorms likely and a low near 70 degrees. Saturday brings another chance of storms and a high near 87, followed by a cooler Saturday night around 68 degrees.
Sunday looks like the weekend’s cleanest outdoor-weather bet: sunny skies, a high near 88 and only a small rain chance. Heat and storm chances return Monday and Tuesday, while temperatures ease into the lower and mid-80s by Wednesday and Thursday as showers and thunderstorms remain possible.
