A 51-year-old man was found with apparent lacerations Tuesday night in Baltimore’s Penn North neighborhood, and police took an unidentified man into custody for questioning. The attack remains shrouded in unanswered questions as investigators work to determine what led to the violence.
According to FOX45 News, officers responded around 7:35 p.m. and found the victim in the 2400 block of Druid Hill Avenue. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known.
What Police Have Confirmed
The man questioned by officers has not been identified, and police have not publicly described his potential role in the stabbing. The initial report also did not include a motive or announce any charges in the case.
The incident follows separate recent Baltimore stabbing investigations that sent multiple victims to hospitals. Three men were injured in a late-June North Baltimore cutting, according to CBS Baltimore, while Hoodline reported that three women were hospitalized after a separate Northwest Baltimore stabbing in July.
The Penn North case remains under investigation, FOX45 News reported. Investigators have not released additional details about the victim’s condition or whether the man taken into custody will face charges.
