A woman was hospitalized in stable condition after being shot in the right arm during a late-night incident in Philadelphia’s Olney section. The shooting sent investigators to a residential block Saturday night, where they found blood and a shell casing while a yellow car sped away.
Police were called around 11:15 p.m. Saturday to the 200 block of West Spencer Street, according to 6abc Philadelphia. Authorities later stopped the yellow car near Jefferson Einstein Hospital and found the injured woman inside. She was taken for treatment and listed in stable condition.

Another Olney Shooting Left Four People Wounded In May
The shooting is the latest serious gunfire case reported in Olney this year. A separate May incident left four people wounded, including a 16-year-old, after shots erupted around a garage gathering, according to Hoodline’s May Olney shooting report.
Saturday night’s case remains active, with detectives working to determine what led to the gunfire and who was responsible. The victim’s stable condition offers some relief, but the investigation is still looking for answers.
