Orlando’s biggest formal night for shelter pets is getting a retro makeover, with the Furball Gala returning this fall under a “Golden Age of Vinyl” theme. The annual fundraiser will pair the usual black-tie polish with adoptable animals, auctions, dinner and plenty of dancing.
The 34th annual gala is scheduled for October 24 at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, according to WESH. Proceeds will support Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando and its work with shelter pets across Central Florida.
Pet Alliance’s event schedule starts with a cocktail reception, open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, the AAA Cares Cuddle Lounge and a silent auction. The organization’s official event information says the evening will continue with a three-course plated dinner, a live auction, and the Bid from the Heart Mission Moment, before ending with desserts, libations, and dancing on the terrace.
A Vinyl-Themed Night With A Serious Mission
The “Golden Age of Vinyl” concept gives the gala a soundtrack-ready identity, but the fundraising goal remains straightforward: help local cats and dogs get care, shelter and a shot at a permanent home. WESH reported that the event will include both live and silent auctions, making the night part party and part high-stakes shopping spree for animal lovers.
Pet Alliance says it cares for more than 5,000 dogs and cats each year and maintains a live-release rate of about 99%. Its broader mission includes sheltering, adoptions, veterinary care and programs designed to help families keep their pets, according to the nonprofit’s official website.
That community focus extends beyond the gala ballroom. Pet Alliance also operates affordable veterinary clinics, a pet food pantry and other services intended to keep animals healthy and reduce the number of pets entering shelters.
Tickets And Sponsorships Are Now In The Spotlight
The Four Seasons event is expected to draw donors, corporate sponsors and Central Florida residents looking for a polished night out with a distinctly furry guest list. Ticket and sponsorship information is being provided through Pet Alliance’s events page.
