A Port St. John home became the scene of a chaotic confrontation Wednesday after a man allegedly crashed a vehicle into the property, forced his way inside and injured two occupants with a knife. The suspect was later arrested after deputies surrounded the residence, officials say.
According to FOX 35 Orlando, deputies were initially responding to a hit-and-run on Interstate 95 when they received reports that a vehicle had crashed into the front yard of a Port St. John home. Authorities identified the suspect as Jadarius West.
Investigators say West entered through a sliding glass door, demanded car keys and armed himself with a kitchen knife. Two people inside were injured and received medical treatment, while a third person in the home was not hurt.

West faces multiple criminal charges
FOX 35 Orlando reports that West was booked into the Brevard County Jail on charges including armed burglary of an occupied dwelling, aggravated battery, aggravated assault, criminal mischief, driving with a suspended license and leaving the scene of a crash. He is being held without bond.
The Brevard County Sheriff's Office warns that booking information can change and that an arrest is not a conviction. The case remains pending, with the allegations to be addressed through the court process.
