
A domestic violence call in Round Rock ended with an officer-involved shooting and the death of the suspect early Tuesday morning. Officers were responding at about 1 a.m. when one officer shot the individual, police said. The suspect was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased.
Round Rock police said the shooting happened in the 2800 block of Phoenix Way. The department said the incident does not pose an ongoing threat to the public, but did not identify the suspect or explain what led to the gunfire.
