A 16-year-old Crystal River teen who was reported missing as a runaway yesterday has been found safe, bringing a quick end to the local search.
Levi Kelly was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Monday in Crystal River, according to an “UPDATE: LOCATED SAFE” notice posted Tuesday by the Citrus County Sheriff's Office. The agency had asked the public for help locating him.
What Officials Shared Before The Update
The bulletin described Kelly as a 16-year-old white male who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve corduroy button-up shirt, blue jeans and work boots.
The case was listed as 2026-00007999, with bulletin number 2026-089.
