A Feather Alert issued for 14-year-old Azaryah LathropSaiz in Sacramento County has been deactivated after the teenager was located, authorities said. The update closes a public search that had centered on a southeast Sacramento intersection and urged anyone who spotted her to call 911.
CHP Alerts posted the update late Monday, saying the subject had been located and the alert was no longer active. The alert had been activated on behalf of the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office after the California Highway Patrol was notified Monday.

LathropSaiz was last seen July 16 near Waterman Road and Vintage Park Drive in Sacramento, the alert said. She was described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 130 pounds, with red hair and brown eyes, and was believed to be on foot while wearing a maroon shirt and blue denim shorts.
The California Highway Patrol says a Feather Alert is used for the suspicious or unexplained disappearance of an Indigenous woman or Indigenous person when authorities believe the person may be in danger and public information could help with a safe recovery.
