According to the National Weather Service Sacramento forecast, south-southwest winds will stay generally light at 3 to 9 mph Tuesday. Rain is essentially off the table for Sacramento, with the chance of precipitation hovering near zero.
Cooling Arrives By Midweek
Wednesday will remain mostly sunny, but the high should ease back to about 90 degrees. A slight chance of light rain arrives late Wednesday night, mainly between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., with a 20% chance of precipitation before Thursday morning.
Regional Fire Weather Concerns Continue
While Sacramento has no watches, warnings or advisories in this forecast, dry conditions and breezier weather remain a concern in parts of the northern Sacramento Valley, foothills and Sierra. Thunderstorm chances increase near the Sierra Crest Wednesday and Thursday, and the combination of dry fuels and lightning could elevate fire-weather risks outside the city.
Weekend Forecast Looks Sunny And Mild
Thursday and Friday will be the coolest days of the stretch, with highs near 84 and overnight lows dipping to about 58. Saturday and Sunday warm modestly to around 87 under sunny skies, followed by another mostly sunny Monday near 87.
