Temperatures should climb through the 60s and reach the mid-70s by midafternoon, making for comfortable conditions across Seattle and the central Puget Sound.
Sunday night turns mostly cloudy again, with a low near 59 degrees. Monday and Tuesday will be a little warmer, with highs near 78 and 79 degrees, followed by mostly sunny skies and highs around 76 degrees Wednesday and Thursday.
Small Craft Advisory Returns Sunday Evening
People heading onto the Strait of Juan de Fuca should expect rougher conditions than those staying on land. The National Weather Service has a Small Craft Advisory scheduled from 4 p.m. Sunday through 3 a.m. Monday, with seas building to about 4 to 6 feet tonight.
Rain Chances Return Late Friday
The week stays mostly dry through Thursday, but the pattern shifts late Friday. Forecasters expect a slight chance of light rain after 5 p.m. Friday, continuing into Friday night and Saturday, when Seattle’s high should fall to around 72 degrees.
