Orlando's SEA LIFE Aquarium is turning an after-hours visit into a beer-and-sharks night this September, with a new adults-only event built around local tastings and access to the exhibits after closing. Fins & Flights will run for three nights, offering a decidedly grown-up way to walk beneath the aquarium's underwater tunnel.

Held Sept. 3-5 from 7 to 10 p.m. at ICON Park, the 21-and-over event will feature pours from Tampa Bay Brewing Co., Orange Blossom Brewing Co., Crooked Can Brewing Company, Ivanhoe Park Brewing Company and LandShark Vodka Seltzer through City Beverages Orlando, according to SEA LIFE's official event page. The aquarium is billing it as an after-hours brewery experience rather than a standard visit, giving guests a chance to explore the marine exhibits in a more adult-oriented setting.

Five Beer Samples And A Limited-Entry Aquarium Crawl

Each general-admission ticket includes five 4-ounce samples, a commemorative tasting glass, and access to exhibits including Florida's 360-degree ocean tunnel, WFTV reported. Guests can select entry times every 30 minutes from 7 to 9 p.m., but each slot is capped at 100 people.

SEA LIFE says every guest must show a valid government-issued photo ID, and designated drivers can attend without purchasing alcohol. The event details also say attendees may be able to buy up to three extra tasting tickets or a full can for $10, subject to availability.

Advance online tickets cost $54.99, while door admission is $59.99, according to WFTV. A $20 designated-driver ticket is also available, giving non-drinkers a way to join the late-night aquarium outing without the included beer tastings.
