A Silver Alert is out across Los Angeles County for 78-year-old Jimmy Woods, who was last seen in Inglewood and is believed to be on foot while using a wheelchair. Authorities are asking anyone who spots him to call 9-1-1 immediately.
The CHP Alerts bulletin, issued on behalf of Inglewood police, says Woods was last seen near South Flower Street and East Arbor Vitae Street. He is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 172 pounds, bald and having black eyes.
California's Highway Patrol serves as the statewide coordinator for missing-person alerts and activates them for local law enforcement agencies. The agency says alerts can be limited to regions connected to a case instead of being issued across the entire state.

The bulletin says Woods was wearing a dark blue shirt with yellow markings and black sweatpants. He also has an ankle monitor on his left ankle, and anyone who sees him is urged to call 9-1-1 immediately rather than delay to seek more information.
