A man in his mid-50s was killed inside a Southwest Philadelphia home Saturday morning, leaving police with a fatal shooting to investigate and no publicly identified motive.
Police said the shooting happened around 9:40 a.m. inside a home on the 6500 block of Regent Street. Responding officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower left back, and he died at the scene, according to NBC10 Philadelphia.
No Arrests Reported As Police Search For Answers
No arrests had been made as of Saturday afternoon, and police said the motive remained unknown. The investigation was ongoing, with officials releasing no further details about what led to the gunfire or whether the victim knew the shooter, NBC10 reported.
