An argument over a firearm in a Spring Burger King parking lot ended with one person shot in the leg and another in custody, according to Harris County authorities. Deputies say the suspect now faces an aggravated robbery charge after the Sunday disturbance.
Deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Precinct 4 responded to the disturbance near the 400 block of East Cypresswood Drive, where they found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, Mark Herman’s office said.
According to the agency’s account, the suspect and victim became involved in a struggle over a firearm. Deputies later located the suspect and took that person into custody on an aggravated robbery charge; the initial update did not include a name or details about a possible motive.
