The Texas Tenors, one of the most successful acts in the history of NBC's America's Got Talent, will return to Spring for a concert on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. inside The Centrum. The show is presented by nonprofit arts group Cypress Creek FACE, marking another date in a relationship between the trio and the Spring venue that goes back several years.
According to CultureMap Houston, the trio ranks as the third highest-selling artist in America's Got Talent history since first appearing on the show in 2009, and the group has since collected three Emmy Awards along with a ranking as the No. 10 classical artist in the world by Billboard magazine. The outlet also reports that ticket prices for the show range from $58 to $95, and that the group has released five studio albums, five DVDs, three PBS specials and two children's books, along with multiple singles.
Three of those albums — Rise, Outside the Lines and A Collection of Broadway and American Classics — each debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard charts, per the same report. The trio's children's books also earned them the Gelett Burgess Award for Excellence in Children's Literature.
Roots in Katy and a National Spotlight
The Texas Tenors were formed in 2009 by country singer JC Fisher, who is based in nearby Katy, alongside classical singer Marcus Collins and operatic tenor John Hagen, according to the group's own biography. The three singers set out to blend country, pop, classical and Broadway styles into a single act, a mix that has carried them well beyond their reality-TV beginnings.
Those three Emmy Awards followed five nominations and were awarded in 2014 for the trio's self-produced 2013 PBS special You Should Dream, recorded with the Phoenix Symphony, according to Wikipedia.
In 2019, the trio was the only vocal group from the United States invited to compete on NBC's all-star competition series America's Got Talent: The Champions, according to Nelson Hall Performing Arts. The Centrum itself has its own comeback story. The 740-seat venue suffered catastrophic flood damage during Hurricane Harvey in August 2017, forcing Cypress Creek FACE to stage concerts at satellite high schools and churches for four years before the renovated hall reopened in late 2021, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Founded in 1997, Cypress Creek FACE brings live performing arts to northwest Harris County through its evening Star-Lit! Series and daytime Promenade Series, according to My Neighborhood News. The same outlet reports that The Centrum offers free surface parking on site, with optional $15 valet parking for concertgoers who want it.
A Return Engagement for Local Fans
This isn't the trio's first stop in Spring. The Texas Tenors previously performed for Cypress Creek FACE audiences at The Centrum in October 2021 and November 2022, according to Community Impact, making this year's date a return engagement for local fans.
