A dispute that started over a bartender inside a Victorville neighborhood bar spilled into the parking lot last Thursday night and ended with gunshots fired at patrons outside. San Bernardino County Sheriff's deputies say 22-year-old Isaiah Griego was identified and arrested the next day, August 28, on suspicion of assault with a firearm, making criminal threats, and brandishing a weapon.
According to VVNG, deputies responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call last Thursday night in the 14500 block of Hesperia Road, the address of the Rustic Tavern. Sheriff's spokeswoman Gloria Orejel told the outlet that the male suspect had allegedly touched the bartender inappropriately and then talked to her, prompting other patrons at the bar to yell at him. The confrontation moved from inside the tavern out into the open, where the suspect produced a firearm and fired it at patrons outside.
