A 48-year-old Winchester man already locked up on drug and theft charges is now facing a first-degree sodomy charge after surveillance video allegedly captured him sexually assaulting another inmate inside the Clark County Detention Center. The alleged assault happened Monday at the detention center, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader, which first reported the charge. Meyers has been held at the Clark County jail since June 9, and he pleaded guilty in a separate drug and theft case last month. He was scheduled to be arraigned on the sodomy charge Wednesday in Clark District Court, with sentencing in the earlier drug and theft case set for Thursday in Clark County, per the same report.
