A 14-year-old juvenile has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of 17-year-old Tavian Soileau, whose body was found inside a parked car in the Hidden Meadow subdivision of northeast Harris County a month earlier. , Precinct 3 deputies responded that day to reports of an injured person inside a vehicle and discovered Soileau deceased inside the car. Detectives with the sheriff's office then took over the scene investigation and the month-long follow-up that led to Thursday's arrest.

previously reported that deputies were originally dispatched around 1:30 p.m. that Saturday to a disturbance call at Montclair Bend Lane and Tyneglen Lane, where a passing motorist discovered an unconscious male suffering from severe trauma inside a parked car before homicide detectives assumed control of the case.
The 12800 block of Montclair Bend Lane sits within the Hidden Meadow subdivision, a single-family residential development in the 77044 ZIP code near Beltway 8 and Tidwell Road.
Juvenile Suspect Faces Murder Charge
The 14-year-old has been charged with murder in connection with Soileau's death. HCSO has not publicly identified the juvenile.
That detention center has a capacity of 250 and has faced recurrent overcrowding, according to reporting by The Texas Tribune.
