A working house fire broke out in the 12200 block of Hampton Place Drive in North Charlotte on the afternoon of Sept. 28, drawing roughly 30 firefighters who brought the blaze under control in just 30 minutes with no injuries reported.
Engine 28, dispatched from Charlotte Fire Station 28 at 8031 Old Statesville Road, was the first apparatus on scene and encountered the working fire, according to the Charlotte Fire Dept

Firefighters got the fire under control within half an hour, and no injuries have been reported, the department said.

The cause of the Hampton Place Drive fire remains under investigation by the Charlotte Fire Investigation Task Force, the fire department said.
