A 60-year-old woman is hospitalized in serious condition at Metro Hospital after being shot in the leg on Cleveland's Denison Avenue, according to police. Officers responded to a call about a woman who had been shot and found her suffering from the gunshot wound in the 6700 block of the street.
Cleveland police officers received the call and located the woman with the leg wound, as reported by Cleveland 19 News. Cleveland EMS also responded to the scene and transported her to MetroHealth in serious condition, per Cleveland EMS.
