A concrete foundation has gone down at the corner of Wilder Road and North Euclid Avenue in Bangor Township, marking the first visible sign that 7 Brew Coffee is planting a new drive-thru stand in Bay County. The fast-growing Arkansas-based chain announced the expansion on Facebook, confirming it is bringing its multi-lane coffee model to one of the county's busiest retail corridors.
The Bay County site sits near a Chick-fil-A in Bangor Township, according to MLive, which reports that the stand is expected to feature multiple drive-thru lanes and digital menu boards once it opens. The menu will include coffee, smoothies, teas, and energy drinks, along with seasonal specials and other standard offerings, per the same report. No official grand opening date has been announced yet, though the outlet notes that new 7 Brew locations typically open within a few months of their initial announcement, according to the company's news release.
Final operating hours for the Bangor Township stand will be confirmed closer to opening, but the report notes most 7 Brew locations run from around 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. or later, with some high-traffic stores in college towns extending their weekend hours even further.
A Corridor Already Anchored by Big Retail
The Wilder Road and North Euclid Avenue intersection functions as Bay County's primary commercial and retail corridor, anchored by developments including the Bay City Towne Center, Walmart, and Home Depot, according to Bangor Township records. That density of existing traffic and national retailers makes the corner a natural fit for a drive-thru concept built around high daily car counts.
The new stand will join other 7 Brew locations already operating in Mid-Michigan, including stores in Midland, Saginaw, and Flint, extending the chain's regional footprint. In Midland, 7 Brew runs a location at 7142 Eastman Avenue near the Midland Mall, open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, according to the company's own store listing.
Part of a Larger Michigan Push
Bay County's future stand is one piece of a broader statewide rollout. Beyond Mid-Michigan, 7 Brew's Michigan expansion includes established and planned drive-thru locations in cities such as Flint, Grand Blanc, Owosso, Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Lansing, as reported by WJRT-TV.
That statewide push mirrors 7 Brew's national trajectory. Founded in Rogers, Arkansas, in 2017, the chain originally built its concept around seven signature coffee drinks, a lineup that has since grown into more than 20,000 possible beverage combinations, according to the company's own history. On June 15, 2026, 7 Brew celebrated its 777th location nationwide in San Antonio, Texas, expanding from just 38 drive-thru stands in January 2023 to more than 750 locations across 38 states.
Modular Construction Speeds Up Site Work
The rapid pace from concrete slab to open storefront is possible because of the chain's standardized building model. 7 Brew drive-thru locations use prefabricated modular structures averaging roughly 510 square feet, built with double drive-thru lanes and no indoor seating, according to Restaurant Dive. That design lets pre-assembled buildings be placed on prepared foundations quickly, dramatically shortening construction timelines compared to traditional restaurant builds.
The expansion has been fueled in part by outside investment. Global investment firm Blackstone made a growth equity investment in 7 Brew in February 2024, when the chain operated roughly 190 locations, to help accelerate its national rollout. Mature franchised 7 Brew stands now generate between $1.8 million and $2 million in average annual revenue, pushing system-wide annual sales past $500 million.
Each new location also represents a meaningful local hiring push. 7 Brew stands typically employ, train, and support an average of 60 local crew members, known internally as the Brew Crew, to handle multi-lane order-taking and drink preparation. Those staffing needs, along with final municipal inspections and drive-thru traffic queue configurations, remain active variables before Bay County's new stand can lock in an official opening date.
The chain also recently rolled out new digital tools to complement its drive-thru format. 7 Brew launched its nationwide mobile ordering application on August 12, adding digital pickup capability alongside its existing double-lane drive-thru service model.
