Baltimore is waking up to a humid, foggy Sunday with showers on the way out and a summer-like afternoon ahead. The damp morning should give way to a much brighter finish, with temperatures climbing to around 87 degrees.
The National Weather Service says rain showers and patchy fog should linger through about 10 a.m., with a 90% chance of precipitation and between a quarter- and half-inch of rain possible. Showers should fade by late morning as clouds break up and partly sunny skies take over.
Monday Brings A Noticeable Cooldown
Sunday night turns partly cloudy and quieter, with a low near 70 and only a slight chance of rain. Monday will feel noticeably different: sunny, less humid and cooler, with a high around 80 and northwesterly winds, with afternoon gusts approaching 25 mph.
Quieter skies Monday night could bring temperatures into the upper 40s to 50s, giving Baltimore an early taste of fall before Tuesday’s sunny 79-degree afternoon. Wednesday and Thursday then stay very warm and dry.
Warm And Mostly Dry Through Thursday
The late-week pattern stays warm, with Friday temperatures remaining in the 80s. Rain chances increase slightly Friday afternoon and Saturday, when scattered showers could interrupt otherwise partly sunny conditions.
No watches, warnings or advisories are listed for Baltimore in the current forecast. For Sunday plans, the best bet is to wait out the wet morning before heading outside, then keep an eye on the sky again late in the week.
