Temperatures should hover around 70 early Monday before climbing through the 70s under bright skies. North winds near 13 mph will make the air feel fresher, though the strongest gusts could make waterfront walks, bike rides and loose patio furniture a little more exciting than planned.
The National Weather Service expects dry conditions and lower humidity to settle in behind a passing front. That comfortable stretch continues Tuesday, when Baltimore should see another sunny day with a high near 79.
Warmer By Midweek
The forecast turns steadily warmer Wednesday and Thursday, with a high around 84 Wednesday and warm, dry conditions Thursday, under mostly sunny skies. Overnight lows remain mild but manageable.
Rain Chances Return Late Week
Friday could reach around 86 degrees before a slight chance of showers arrives after 2 p.m., with a 20% chance of rain. Shower chances remain possible into the weekend, while Saturday's high could reach around 80.
Boaters Face Gusty Conditions
The wind is the main weather concern Monday, especially on the water. The National Weather Service has a Small Craft Advisory in effect through 10 p.m. Monday for much of the local waters, with some southern waters covered through 7 a.m. Tuesday, according to the agency's latest forecast discussion.
