Bert Kreischer’s Permission To Party World Tour is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3, at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena. The venue changed its name from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in 2025 as Rocket Companies unified its corporate branding, according to Cleveland Magazine.
The Cleveland performance is part of Kreischer’s current effort to develop a new hour for Netflix. In an interview with Cleveland Scene, he said the set would emphasize new material while retaining selected established stories, including The Machine and a story involving Tracy Morgan that Morgan permitted him to tell.
A career built on storytelling
Kreischer became nationally known after a 1997 Rolling Stone profile about his years at Florida State University. The article helped establish the public image that later informed National Lampoon’s Van Wilder, although Kreischer was not involved in approving the film, according to ScreenRant.
His stand-up is built around personal storytelling, with The Machine becoming one of his best-known stories. He later expanded into film, podcasting and live events, including the Fully Loaded Comedy Festival, which has grown from a touring comedy event into shows at ballparks, arenas and a cruise ship, according to Cleveland Scene.
A broader live-touring trend
Kreischer’s arena-scale engagement also fits into a broader expansion in live touring. According to Live Nation Entertainment, artists touring in 2025 who had recently toured in 2022-2024 were averaging double-digit growth in tickets sold per show and gross revenue per show. The figures cover live artists generally rather than stand-up comedy specifically, but they provide wider industry context for large-room comedy tours.
Recent screen work
Kreischer’s sixth Netflix special, Bert Kreischer: Lucky, was assembled from six sold-out hometown shows in Tampa and premiered on March 18, 2025, according to BroadwayWorld. He also produced and starred in the 2023 film The Machine, which co-starred Mark Hamill.
For Cleveland audiences, the immediate draw is a Rocket Arena set built around new material, with some familiar storytelling likely to remain part of the performance.
