Makeup artist Bobbi Brown is bringing her clean-beauty label to Charlotte, with Jones Road Beauty set to join the tenant lineup at SouthPark's Phillips Place. The brand already appears as coming soon on its own website and in the shopping center's tenant directory, signaling that a storefront near some of the area's most upscale retailers is in the works.
According to WSOC TV, Jones Road Beauty secured a Mecklenburg County permit for 6800 Phillips Place Court valued at $322,900. The station reports the brand will have neighbors including J.Crew and Veronica Beard in the high-end retail center, placing it among established fashion names rather than a typical strip-mall beauty aisle.
Who Is Behind the Brand
Bobbi Brown, the makeup artist and author long associated with the cosmetics industry, founded Jones Road Beauty in 2020, according to What Now. The outlet describes it as an independent, direct-to-consumer line created to champion clean, high-grade, multi-use “no-makeup makeup.” On its own site, the brand identifies itself simply as Jones Road, Bobbi Brown's clean beauty brand, per Jones Road Beauty.
The company says its products are built for an effortless no-makeup makeup look, and that it uses only clean ingredients, and none of the bad stuff, according to a company page describing five reasons to try the brand. Jones Road also touts an accolade for one of its bestsellers, noting that its Skin Foundation Stick is an Allure Best of Beauty Award winner for 2026.
A Growing Storefront Footprint
Jones Road Beauty is not new to brick-and-mortar retail. What Now reports there are now at least 12 retail storefronts for the brand nationwide, including two in Texas — one in Austin and one in Dallas. A Charlotte location would extend that expanding physical footprint into another Southern market with a built-in shopping crowd already frequenting Phillips Place's mix of boutiques.
Beyond the permit filing and the coming-soon listings, specifics remain scarce. WSOC-TV reported that no further details were immediately available, and that Jones Road Beauty and Phillips Place could not be reached for comment. For now, SouthPark shoppers will have to watch the tenant directory for updates on when the doors actually open.
