Brit Floyd is coming back around in 2027 with a new production featuring one of Pink Floyd's darkest, strangest records. The tribute act's Animals 50 tour marks the 50th anniversary of the 1977 album Animals, and the first wave of dates already covers 39 shows stretching from Canada down through the Northeast, mid-Atlantic, South and Midwest.
A Concept Album Gets Its Own Concept Tour
According to britfloyd.com, Animals 50 will bring the landmark album to life in its entirety, alongside other Pink Floyd hits and fan favorites. Brit Floyd is a Pink Floyd tribute act, and this run zeroes in on the 1977 record that stitched together five tracks — Pigs on the Wing 1, Dogs, Pigs (Three Different Ones), Sheep, and Pigs on the Wing 2 — into a roughly 41-minute meditation that an Oxford Student 2017 review once described as an echo-chamber for social unrest in the 1970s.
Leg 1 begins February 23 in Canada and continues across North America through mid-April, britfloyd.com states, with the tour kicking off at FirstOntario Concert Hall in Hamilton, Ontario, and wrapping in Pittsburgh on April 17. As reported by Consequence, that Hamilton opener sets the tone for a run that also touches down at Boston's MGM Music Hall on March 4. Tickets for the newly announced dates are available via Ticketmaster, per the same outlet's report.
Six Stops Across New York State
New York gets six stops on this leg, according to New York Post. Those include a February 27 stop at West Herr Auditorium Theatre in Rochester, a March 7 date at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, an April 14 finale at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, and a March 16 show at the Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theatre in Syracuse, per the original article facts.
Huntington's Paramount Theatre is doing double duty, hosting Brit Floyd on both March 9 and March 10, according to Ultimate Classic Rock. It is one of three cities on the list getting back-to-back nights in this first announcement.
A Note for State Theatre Guests
State Theatre New Jersey also lists a Brit Floyd date. Everyone entering the theater, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket, and guests under 18 must sit directly adjacent to a parent or guardian.
A Venue Name Still Up in the Air
The April 17 Pittsburgh stop is listed as the Peterson Event Center.
This new run follows what Consequence describes as Brit Floyd's massive 123-date The Moon, The Wall and Beyond tour in 2026, giving the band a packed two-year stretch on the road. Ultimate Classic Rock also reports that Brit Floyd plans to announce U.K. and European Animals 50 tour dates in October, with a second North American leg expected to follow in November.
