Showery weather may linger Tuesday afternoon before a brief break Wednesday morning. Additional rain and thunderstorm chances return from Wednesday afternoon into Thursday, with unsettled conditions potentially hanging around through Friday.
Lake Michigan Boaters Face Rougher Conditions
Boaters should also keep an eye on Lake Michigan, where stronger south to southwest winds are expected Monday afternoon into Tuesday. A Gale Watch is in effect for portions of the open lake from 7 p.m. Monday to 1 p.m. Tuesday, while nearshore conditions may become hazardous for smaller boats.
