A silver Toyota Camry barreled into a home and a power line at the corner of Woodman Avenue and Mayall Street in Mission Hills late Friday night, leaving the vehicle mangled and debris strewn across the property. The crash was reported around 11:25 p.m., and as of Saturday morning, authorities had no information indicating anyone had been taken into custody.
The driver, described only as a man between 30 and 40 years old, struck the residence and the utility pole's power line, according to KTLA. Photos from the scene showed the Camry heavily damaged, with debris scattered around the property. The Los Angeles Fire Department did not transport anyone to a hospital, and authorities said they had no further details about what led up to the crash.
City Agencies Notified
Because the crash involved city property, police took a report, and both the Los Angeles Department of Transportation and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power were notified.
