Pearce released her fifth studio album, Honest Woman, roughly two weeks before this Detroit run, according to the Oakland Press report. The 16-track project marks her first full-length record under BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville, following her departure from longtime label home Big Machine Label Group, where she released her first four studio projects, as reported by Holler.
The album, which Pearce co-produced with Ben West, features guest turns from Molly Tuttle, Riley Green and Dan Tyminski, and includes tracks such as Church Girl and WWJD, per the Oakland Press report. Pearce worked with outside writers on most of the record's songs but has said she does not have to pen every track herself for an album to feel like it is hers, according to the same account.
