A Chicora man is facing multiple charges after a child told investigators she was assaulted every other weekend for nearly three years at a home in Concord Township. Brandon Lindenberger was charged Friday in connection with the alleged abuse, which reportedly began in October 2020 and continued until June 2023, according to 977 Rocks 97.7 FM.
The alleged incidents took place every other weekend when the child was with Lindenberger, according to ButlerRadio.com. The child, who is now 10, reportedly told investigators that Lindenberger became angry when she tried to talk during the encounters.
What Lindenberger Allegedly Told Police
In an interview with police, Lindenberger allegedly acknowledged one assault and said he had “snapped out of it” before apologizing to the child, according to the report. The account does not say whether he responded to the other alleged incidents.
Lindenberger faces charges of aggravated assault, indecent assault of a person less than 13, corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children and indecent exposure, the station reported. A preliminary hearing had not been scheduled as of Monday.
