Police went to a home in the 600 block of South 22nd Street shortly before 8 a.m. on September 6. Officers found a woman with a head injury, and she was taken to OhioHealth Grant Medical Center for treatment, according to the court-record accounts published by WHIO and 10TV. What court records allege
The woman told investigators that Robbins came to the residence the night before after being away for several days. The account reported by 10TV and attributed to court records says he remained outside for a period of time after she refused to let him in. Investigators allege that he later entered with a key he had previously said was lost and confronted her inside the home.
The account alleges that Robbins had a machete concealed behind him and that the woman was injured during the confrontation, including a cut to the top of her head and injuries to her hands. It also says some of her hair was cut. The allegations, reported by 10TV and summarized by WHIO, have not been adjudicated.
