A Houston nail salon known for picking up clients in a fully stocked party limousine is bringing that model to Meyerland. D'Limo Nail Lounge has filed plans for a second location at 8705 West Loop South, a $400,000 buildout inside a strip center right off Interstate 610 and Beechnut Street.
The project is registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation under the name D'Limo Nail Lounge Meyerland LLC, according to state filing records reviewed by Zabalist. As first reported by Community Impact, the new salon will sit in Suite 500 of the retail center and mark the brand's first expansion beyond its original Oak Forest shop. State filings list the project under TABS number TABS2026028546, per the same Zabalist filing.
Construction on the 4,200-square-foot space is scheduled to begin November 2, 2026, with a targeted completion date of August 2, 2027, according to the architectural filings. Community Impact reports the salon expects to open by summer 2027, a timeline that lines up closely with that state-filed completion target.
What Guests Can Expect Inside
D'Limo's flagship salon at 1335 West 43rd Street in Oak Forest operates with 55 pedicure chairs and 30 nail stations, according to a report from SafePedicures. Community Impact's reporting describes the original location as having more than 50 pedicure chairs, per the business's own social media. It remains an open question whether the Meyerland build will replicate that full capacity inside its smaller 4,200-square-foot footprint.
Beyond manicures and pedicures, the brand's signature draw is its party limousine service, which picks up guests from their homes and drives them to the salon, per Community Impact's reporting. The limo comes equipped with plasma TVs, a music system, and a fully stocked bar, the outlet notes. The Oak Forest location's menu also includes facials priced between $49 and $150 and full eyelash extension sets running $95 to $135, according to the ABC Salon System.
The complimentary bar and limo drinks raise a regulatory wrinkle worth watching. Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission rules allow businesses without a liquor permit to serve free alcoholic drinks to adult patrons only if those drinks are not tied to any purchase requirement or mandatory service fee, according to TABC guidance. The Meyerland property is owned by FKM Partnership, Ltd., a commercial developer tied to the Meyer family that originally developed the surrounding neighborhood, according to Zabalist's records. FKM also owns the nearby property at 8715 West Loop South, the same filing notes. The strip center already houses Panda Express, Sport Clips Haircuts, and Today's Vision, according to Today's Vision, and it sits directly across from Meyerland Plaza's retail anchors.
The salon's arrival adds to a broader wave of investment along the I-610 Meyerland corridor.
