Tomorrow stays hot with a high near 99 and heat index values as high as 106, along with another chance for storms. Saturday is forecast to reach 101 under sunny skies, followed by highs near 100 next Sunday through next Tuesday and overnight lows in the upper 70s.
Outdoor work and exercise will be safest early in the morning or later in the evening, with regular water breaks and time in shade or air conditioning. Anyone caught outside when thunder develops should move indoors, and children and pets should never be left in a parked vehicle.
