Disney On Ice is bringing its touring production Find Your Hero to Little Caesars Arena in Detroit for a four-day run starting Thursday and continuing through Sunday, with eight total showtimes packed into the engagement. Among the skaters gliding across the ice will be Colleen Clancy, a Kalamazoo native who has spent roughly a decade touring with the show, including stints portraying Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
The schedule includes one performance Thursday, two on Friday, three on Saturday, and two on Sunday, according to 313 Presents. Clancy discussed her long run with the production and her local ties in a conversation with Live In the D hosts Tati Amare and Kim DeGiulio, according to ClickOnDetroit.
What's On the Ice This Time
Find Your Hero draws from a wider mix of Disney stories than past touring shows passing through Detroit. Beyond staples like Moana, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid, the production folds in story segments and characters from Encanto, Tangled, and Lilo & Stitch, according to LittleGuide Detroit. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse serve as the overall hosts tying the segments together, per the same outlet's reporting.
Ticket prices for the Detroit dates begin around $35 plus venue fees, with group discounts available for parties of 10 or more, LittleGuide Detroit notes. Families looking for an upgraded experience can also add on a Magical Pass for select showtimes, which according to Disney On Ice includes premium seating and a character greeting experience beginning 45 minutes before showtime, plus a collectible lanyard and early entry.

Little Caesars Arena's event policies require a ticket for every guest age 2 and older, and costumes are strictly prohibited for attendees ages 14 and older, according to Ticketmaster. Those rules apply across all touring Disney On Ice productions, not just the Detroit stop.

Clancy's path to the ice show runs through West Michigan. The Kalamazoo native has toured professionally with Disney On Ice for approximately 10 years, taking on character roles including Belle, according to reporting from 13 ON YOUR SIDE. She has also performed with Into the Magic and visited more than 40 countries.
