Donny Osmond is staying put on the Las Vegas Strip a while longer. Caesars Entertainment announced in August that Osmond extended his solo headliner residency inside the Harrah's Showroom at Harrah's Las Vegas through June 2027, stretching his fifth year at the property and his 16th total year performing on the Strip.
The extension keeps one of Las Vegas's longest-running acts in place at a venue built specifically for that kind of staying power. According to Caesars Entertainment, Osmond's solo residency at Harrah's originally debuted in August 2021, and the show has been housed ever since inside the Harrah's Showroom.
An AI Duet With His 14-Year-Old Self
Osmond's 90-minute show has leaned hard into modern stagecraft to pair with six decades of nostalgia. As reported by Spotlight Vegas, the production now incorporates artificial intelligence to generate a 3D rendering of Osmond at 14 years old, letting him perform his 1972 hit “Puppy Love” as a live duet alongside his past persona using original 1970s multitrack audio recordings. The set also folds in a rap segment recapping his career and an interactive audience request portion, according to the same outlet.
KSNV, which spoke with Osmond directly, reports that he calls Las Vegas his “home away from home,” a description that traces back to decades of Strip history predating his current run. Before Harrah's, Osmond performed with his sister Marie at Flamingo Las Vegas, cementing the siblings as staple Strip headliners before they wrapped that act, according to Caesars.
Crossing Paths With Vegas Legends
Osmond's Strip résumé stretches further back still. Per KSNV, he previously performed at the Sahara and at Caesars Palace, and along the way met entertainment figures including Shirley Bassey, Mickey Rooney, Andy Williams, Nancy Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, and Frank Sinatra. He also met Elvis Presley at the International, the venue now known as the Westgate, where he stayed in Presley's suite and where Presley reportedly visited his show backstage, KSNV reports.
The station's report also notes that Osmond's musicians mostly live in Las Vegas and his dancers live there too, part of a show that includes a full band and dancers built from what the outlet describes as the city's growing talent pool. Osmond performs six nights a week in Las Vegas, with Monday as his typical day off, and his current run of shows continues through the holidays with additional dates set for January and February, per the same account.
A Charity Walk and a Rebounding Strip
Osmond's next local commitment away from the stage lands next month. The event listing names Donny Osmond as a headliner for the inaugural City of Hope “Walk for Hope” in Las Vegas, scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, according to the Nevada Subcontractors Association, marking the first time City of Hope has brought its Walk for Hope event to Southern Nevada. KSNV reports Osmond is promoting the walkathon, which supports a local effort to fight cancer, even though he lives full-time in Utah with his wife.
That charitable partnership has history behind it. During his 2024 Summer Tour, Osmond donated $1 from every ticket sold to cancer and diabetes research through City of Hope while auctioning exclusive concert VIP packages, with Osmond noting that personal stories shared by concertgoers had inspired his support for cancer research.
KSNV describes Las Vegas as having rebounded from a downturn and thriving again, pointing to growth in professional sports and major investments as signs of confidence in its future.
