A Busy Corridor Near Schools and Shopping
The intersection sits in one of Henderson's busiest commercial and retail hubs, near the Galleria at Sunset shopping mall and Galleria Commons, according to West Coast Trial Lawyers. Further back, in November 2015, Henderson police arrested two people accused of pistol-whipping a victim near a park at Whitney Ranch Drive and Galleria Drive before using stolen keys to carry out a home invasion and attempted murder on Whitney Ranch Drive, per the Las Vegas Sun. And in August 2017, a stabbing broke out at Thurman White Middle School near the same intersection, when a 12-year-old student stabbed a 16-year-old intruder in the school's quad area before classes started, the Las Vegas Sun also reported.
