A boutique fitness studio known for reformer Pilates and infrared sauna sessions is setting up shop along Everett's waterfront. Athleisure Collective, which currently operates out of Arlington, plans to open a second location at the Port of Everett's Waterfront Place, occupying roughly 4,000 square feet of interior space plus an adjacent patio in Marina Village.
The Port of Everett Commission approved a 10-year lease for the space on September 10, according to whatnow.com. The new storefront will sit on the South Marina Promenade, tucked between Anthony's Homeport and Woodfire, and is targeting an early 2027 opening. Founder and owner Briana Bowers began developing the concept in 2017, launched it online in 2020, and opened Athleisure Collective's first physical studio at 3806 166th Pl. NE in Arlington in 2024, per the same report.
Three Studios, a Retail Shop and a Public-Facing Cafe
The Everett buildout will include three fitness studios alongside a retail area and a cafe, according to the outlet's reporting. The report does not specify the Everett class schedule or individual services and programs offered at the new location.

Part of a Broader Shift in Waterfront Leasing Strategy
The Port frames the addition as part of Waterfront Place's redevelopment, according to the Port's Facebook announcement. Waterfront Place itself is a 65-acre, $1 billion public-private redevelopment along Port Gardner Bay that is expected to total 1.5 million square feet at full build-out and drew more than 1.6 million annual site visits as of 2025, per WELCOME Magazine.
The master plan for the district calls for 63,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 20,000 square feet of marine retail, 447,500 square feet of office space, two hotels and up to 660 waterfront residential units, according to the Port of Everett's development page. Once fully operational, the Port projects Waterfront Place will generate roughly $8.6 million in annual state and local sales tax revenue and support 2,100 family-wage jobs.
Built on Reclaimed Industrial Shoreline
Waterfront Place sits on a former mill site along shoreline associated with Everett's lumber industry, and the site represents an ongoing multi-decade redevelopment and environmental cleanup effort along Port Gardner Bay, according to the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce. That publication also notes the 65-acre footprint of the redevelopment now underway.
The district sits adjacent to the Port of Everett Marina, which the Port describes as the largest public marina on the West Coast, with 2,300 slips and 5,000 linear feet of guest moorage — a built-in customer base that helps explain why retail and wellness tenants are drawn to Marina Village. Athleisure Collective's move suggests the company is betting on that steady stream of boaters, diners and residents to support its expansion beyond Arlington. How quickly the remaining retail and housing phases at Waterfront Place come together heading into the studio's targeted early 2027 opening remains an open question for future reporting.
