A 25-year-old man has been missing since Monday morning after he was last seen walking away from a home on San Antonio's Far Northwest Side, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office. Jonas Allen Marcelle was last seen around 8 a.m. leaving a residence in the 11100 block of Icicle Bench, in the 78254 ZIP code, and has not been located since.
The sheriff's office is asking for the public's help finding Marcelle, according to KENS 5, which reported that he stands 5 feet 5 inches tall, has brown eyes and brown hair. In its own social media advisories released Thursday, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office added that Marcelle weighs 134 pounds and was last seen on foot in that same block of Icicle Bench.
Anyone with information is asked to call BCSO at 210-335-6000. The sheriff's office also said tips can be emailed directly to its missing persons unit at [email protected], giving investigators a direct line for details from the public.

In November 2025, Bexar County commissioners approved $370,000 in the fiscal year 2026 budget to create a standalone Missing Persons Unit within the sheriff's office, according to the San Antonio Report. Marcelle's case has not triggered a CLEAR Alert, the statewide emergency notification system for missing adults between 18 and 64. Under Texas Department of Public Safety guidelines, that alert can only be issued if a preliminary investigation confirms imminent danger of bodily injury or an involuntary disappearance within 72 hours of vanishing — a threshold distinct from the standard bulletins agencies like BCSO issue through local media and social channels.
Suburban Sprawl Complicates the Search
The search is unfolding in one of San Antonio's fastest-growing suburban corridors.
