A stationery-focused tenant
Good Things Paperie has opened at Arden Fair with an assortment that includes stickers, keychains, postcards, pens, markers and other writing materials. The LGBTQ+-owned and woman-owned shop also plans to stock products from minority artists and minority-owned brands, while emphasizing merchandise from Japanese and Korean labels, according to the Sacramento Bee’s report: Sacramento Bee.
The mall’s website says the store carries more than 100 stationery brands and other paper goods. That product breadth gives the shop a discovery-oriented role within Arden Fair, although the description and brand count remain based on information reported by the Bee and published by the mall rather than on an independent interview with the owner.
Opening details
The store began operating September 5 on Arden Fair’s first floor, between Coach and Xtreme Claw, the Bee reported. Arden Fair’s official Facebook page said the grand-opening event included giveaways, raffles and goodie bags for early visitors.
Good Things Paperie’s listed hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The shop is joining a broader effort to refresh Arden Fair’s tenant mix. Recent additions and planned arrivals cited by CBS Sacramento include Fabletics, Levi’s, Taco Bell Cantina and True Religion, alongside earlier additions such as Uniqlo, H&M and JD Sports. The mall described the work as a multi-year effort focused on experience-oriented and lifestyle retailers, according to CBS Sacramento.
Good Things Paperie’s arrival therefore adds a small, specialized retail concept to a redevelopment strategy that also includes larger national brands. Whether the shop can build sustained traffic in the regional mall will depend on how effectively its curated stationery selection converts browsing into repeat visits.
