Monday Brings A Stronger Storm Threat
Monday will be hotter, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 90 before another round of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms. The storm threat will be greater Monday, and some storms could become strong to severe, with damaging wind gusts and excessive rain the main concerns.
Rain chances continue Monday night. Anyone with outdoor plans should have a backup option.
Tuesday Brings More Rain
Tuesday brings increasing precipitation chances, with excessive-rainfall risk continuing through the day.
By Wednesday, Greenville should see a cool northeasterly flow as a cold-air-damming pattern develops.
Cooler, Drier Conditions Arrive Late Week
Thursday and Friday should remain below normal, with shower chances diminishing. Saturday should bring some sun with showers possible, while temperatures remain below normal.
No watches, warnings or advisories are posted for the area. Still, residents should move indoors when thunder is heard, avoid flooded roads during downpours and keep an eye on the sky Monday and Tuesday.
