Harry Styles is finally coming back to North Texas, and this time he's skipping the arena for a full-blown stadium. The pop superstar will play AT&T Stadium in Arlington on April 9 and 10, 2027, marking his first local performance since a sold-out arena show nearly six years ago.
The Arlington dates are part of a newly announced 2027 expansion of Styles' massive Together, Together tour, according to the Dallas Observer. The extension tacks on 25 stadium shows across 12 cities, pushing the tour's total scope to 92 performances across 18 cities by August 28, 2027, as reported by Music Week. The tour originally launched in May 2026 as a 67-show residency spread across seven global cities, including 30 shows in New York City and 12 in London.
For North American fans, the shift is significant. The April and May 2027 leg marks the first time Styles will play stadium concerts in the United States and Canada, kicking off in Phoenix before moving through Arlington, Los Angeles, Toronto, Atlanta and Chicago, per Music Week's reporting. Every added city gets two dates except London, which keeps its residency format. Styles previously kept his 2026 North American dates confined to indoor arenas, a format he's now abandoning for outdoor football venues.
A Nearly Six-Year Wait for North Texas Fans
The wait has been a long one for local fans. Styles last performed in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex on September 11, 2021, when he played a sold-out show at American Airlines Center in Dallas during his Love On Tour run, a concert that had originally been scheduled for 2020 before pandemic restrictions forced a delay, according to the SMU Daily Campus.
That six-year gap helps explain why regional demand is expected to be intense. Before this stadium announcement, Styles' entire 2026 U.S. presence was limited to a single city: a sold-out 30-night residency at Madison Square Garden running from August through October 31, 2026. Fans across the rest of the country, Texas included, had to travel to New York just to catch him live in North America, as noted by Entertainment Focus.
Massive Venue, Massive Scale
AT&T Stadium gives Styles plenty of room to work with. The Arlington venue has a standard football seating capacity of 80,000 that can expand beyond 100,000 for major concert configurations using floor seating and standing room, according to SeatGeek. The stadium is owned by the City of Arlington and operated by the Dallas Cowboys.
Styles arrives in Arlington fresh off a record-setting run overseas. In July, he was awarded a Guinness World Record for the longest residency by a musician at London's Wembley Stadium during a single run, after completing 12 sold-out shows there, per Music Business Worldwide. That performance surpassed Coldplay's previous Wembley record of 10 nights.
Opener Lineup and Album Momentum
Each stop on the 2027 stadium leg comes with its own local opener. Arlington concertgoers will get Argentine experimental hip-hop duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, while Tinashe opens in Phoenix, Kylie Minogue in Los Angeles, Lainey Wilson in Toronto, and Tears For Fears in London, according to Consequence.net. Styles used a similar city-by-city opener model throughout his 2026 residency dates.
The tour's fuel is Styles' fourth studio album, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, was released in March. The record debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and became the U.K.'s top-selling album release of 2026 so far, with more than 383,000 sales, Music Week reports. It also produced two No. 1 singles, Aperture and American Girls.
Presale Deadlines and Ticket Details
Fans hoping to snag presale tickets need to move fast. Registration for the Artist Presale on Styles' website closes next Sunday at 11:59 p.m. ET, according to the Ticketmaster Blog. General public ticket sales begin next Wednesday.
The rollout also comes with a corporate tie-in. American Express is running an ongoing partnership campaign called We Belong Together, giving cardholders an exclusive presale window that opens next Tuesday, per Entertainment Focus.
Styles rose to fame through The X Factor before being placed in One Direction, which went on to become one of the best-selling groups of all time and eventually launched his solo career. According to the Dallas Observer's report, Styles has hinted that the future beyond 2027 remains uncertain, saying, “I don’t know what comes next for me, but I know that I’m excited to find out.” Hoodline previously covered the tour's original announcement of 30 MSG shows going on sale and later reported when Ticketmaster pulled scalped MSG seats, according to Hoodline.
