The high should reach about 89 before temperatures fall into the lower 80s during the afternoon, and localized flooding remains possible in poor-drainage and urban areas.
The strongest severe-storm concern is expected across southeast Georgia Sunday evening, while Northeast Florida’s main risks are heavy rain, lightning and gusty thunderstorm winds. The updated forecast sharpens the unsettled outlook described in an earlier Hoodline forecast.
